No-Bake Coconut Balls Recipe (Easy)
These coconut pralines are a great snack for in-between, especially during the summertime. They taste like Raffaello but are healthier. With only 4 ingredients (with chocolate 5 but I think chocolate is also important ?) they are so quick and easy to make. The pralines are made without baking.
I am a big fan of coconut snacks and that’s why I tried coconut balls that taste like Raffaello the other day. I was surprised at how easy they are to make at home. These coconut pralines are the perfect snack during the summertime and are also great for surprising someone with a little treat. This is definitely something every foodie will be happy about! By the way, the coconut bars with raspberries are made in a similar way and taste like Bounty, if you want to try more coconut snacks! Moreover, the balls are completely gluten-free and do not contain sugar. The classic Raffellos are made with condensed milk. You don’t need any milk products for these coconut pralines, so they are healthier than the classic Raffaello recipes.
Only 4 ingredients – Almond Coconut Balls
For the almond coconut balls, you only need 4 simple ingredients. However, I would recommend coating the balls with chocolate as they become even tastier, and especially with white chocolate, these balls taste simply heavenly just like Raffaello. Of course, you can also press almonds into the dough so that the coconut balls come even closer to the original.
- Coconut butter – You can find coconut butter in the supermarket or in the organic food store. By the way, the butter is relatively cheap in comparison to most types of nut butter!
- White almond butter – The white almond butter gives the coconut balls the Raffaello flavor, so I recommend you to use this almond butter. It tastes so good together! Don’t you like almond butter? Then you can also use cashew butter.
- Shredded coconut – I added shredded coconut to the dough mixture to make the balls firmer and to give them an even more intense coconut aroma. Keep some more to roll the balls in the shredded coconut.
- Agave syrup – You do not need sugar for this recipe. You can simply add some agave syrup or another sugar alternative.
- Extras: chocolate, pineapple powder, and almonds
