Rice Pudding for breakfast

At the moment I love to eat a bowl full of warm rice pudding for breakfast besides my Oatmeal. It is a very satisfying and delicious breakfast. It also gives me a lot of energy to start the day off well. You can also try different variations like the classic apple-cinnamon rice pudding or mix it with delicious berries. Of course you can also enjoy rice pudding in between or as dessert.

Preparation

The important thing for preparing rice pudding is that you use the right kind of rice. Only with the right kind of rice grains you can get the creamy consistency. This means use only round grain rice and not long grain rice.

The rice pudding is very easy and quick to make. You can also prepare it the evening before, put it in the fridge overnight and enjoy it either hot or cold the next day.

Ingredients

  • 250 gr Rice Pudding
  • 1 liter Milk
  • 2 tsp Agave Syrup
  • 2-3 tbsp Cinnamon and Vanilla

Extra

  • mixed berries

Instructions

  • Boil Milk in a pot
  • Add rice, cook it at low heat 25 – 30 minutes
  • Add spices and agave syrup
  • Cook in another pot the berry mixture
