Drain the kidney beans thoroughly. While they drain, blend the oats into flour using a food processor or blender.
Finely chop the onion and garlic. Add all ingredients except the oat flour into a food processor.
Blend until a thick, uniform mixture forms. Add the oat flour and mix it in either by hand or using the processor.
Slightly dampen your hands to prevent sticking. Shape the mixture into 10–12 patties (veggie "meatballs" or burger-sized).
Place them directly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Pre-bake the patties in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 5–7 minutes to help them set.
Pan-fry them in a little oil on both sides until they’re golden and crispy.
Let the patties cool briefly after cooking. This helps them firm up.
Serve warm or cold — they’re also great as a quick snack!
